THE BEST GIFT
What do You get a toddler who’s been naughty all year?
EVERYTHING SHE WANTS!
This year there’s not much under the tree, but I know we will soon look back to this year and be like “man we came a long way!” If it was just my husband and I would have celebrated Christmas without the gifts.
This year we managed to get the tree up two weeks before thanksgiving. I love how our place felt a lot like Christmas. Aside from being blessed to be able to see a new year, Christmas is my favorite time of the year.
Therefore, there was no way my daughter who I must say have been naughty throughout the year wasn’t going to get anything from mom! I Know somewhere in the universe there’s a parent out there going through it because it’s either they spent their last on a Christmas gift for their kids, or they only have enough to feed them on Christmas day. Thus they give their baby’s the talk about how they are getting lots of hug and kisses this year, sealed with a promise how next year will be better.
THE GIFT OF GIVING
Although this year is my favorite year, it’s the year I have the most concern, it’s when I look at my life, and tell myself someone has it worse, and most importantly it’s the time of year I wished I had just enough to play Mrs.Clause signing From Mom or Dad on every gift.
And that too will happen!
Until then I’m going to continue to be happy for what I have, because although my daughter has been naughty this year, I would have to say so was mom and dad. When we think, negative I like to think that we’re being naughty! When we stress about what we can’t afford, we are being naughty because there’s someone out there wishing they could afford what we have.
BE GRATEFUL
This Christmas I’m thankful for what I have and what I’m about to receive. And since my daughter is not quite sure what she wants for Christmas, I’m getting her everything I know she needs. Her own tablet so she can stay out of my phone, plenty of mommy time since I’m not working, and of course extra time at her favorite place the park! I’m grateful for the family & friends who made this Christmas memorable for my daughter!
LOVE
Naughty or Nice, everyone deserves something for Christmas. Just remember it’s not always about the gift that needs to be unwrap. Sometimes the most expensive gift you can give, don’t require any purchase.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! & HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!
