Unexpected
When others say the unexpected happened, our mind must wonder… was it really unexpected, shouldn’t we expect the unexpected?
I mean perhaps we were just playing it safe on several occasions, putting all possibilities to the side with total disregard to the repercussion because there was a brief moment to be enjoyed. On the other hand we can agree to disagree that we’re just going with the flow of life, and the surprise of a life time just took place. Which brings me to my next question, will we celebrate it, mourn it, are we happy or maybe sad?
Expect It!
In other words, this thing that happened unexpectedly is not expected to always be good or bad. In fact half of the time we have a say so when it comes to the results of the surprise.
For example if you’re not ready for a child, but choose not to practice safe sex, yes we will be taken by surprise. Except it was to be expected wasn’t it? It wasn’t like you and your partner got checked and found out you couldn’t conceive. So therefore you had a say so with the results of the unexpected. However if the results were, you couldn’t conceive and you found out five years later you’re expecting then truly it was UNEXPECTED! And now others can determine your internal state of being base on your actions and your emotions.
