I love being a mom
If her father did not take part in this little creation I would say she’s my only Love. From her I’ve gain knowledge of the important things in life. We often get told; go to school to learn and get an education, but who knew this little person with out one could teach me so much!
When I found out I was pregnant, In my mind, I had to change who I was, I had to put my self last, make quick decisions on where I wanted to be, and ask questions like is where I wanted to be good enough,
I thought about the ideas I been exposed to throughout the course of life as far as motherhood. I immediately thought of my mother and how she loves all four of her children unconditionally, always busy making sure we had a fixed plate after school, and man did she have a lot of patience! I admire her, and all I wanted was to show my daughter that kind of love and then some!
She’s whom I want to be when it comes to being a mom, because I felt the love. For that reason I want my daughter to feel my love for her, not only when she’s getting spoiled with gifts, but also when she’s not happy with some of the decisions we make as parents, (she already hates the word no lol)
Although I know I’m not persuaded to embody all the wonderful qualities my mother have, deep down inside I just knew I wanted them. But holding my daughter for the first time changed everything. A couple days ago my Sugarplum turn one, and guess what?
I didn’t force my personality to change based on all the ideas I though a mother should be, Instead I just became an instant Mom. It’s already been a whole year, I feel like I’m the best mom I could be. Mothers Day to me is an encouragement to continue to be the best mom ever! It means love, to nurture, and to show constant gratitude to our mothers and their mothers.
I hope mothers everywhere are proud, happy, enjoying life, and felt appreciated this mother’s day. I took pleasure in expressing my gratification replying to all the HAPPY MOTHERS DAY text.
On mothers Day last year she arrived and gave me the best gift ever! I’m so honored to take the name my daughter gave me as Mom. I am forever grateful and will patiently wait for our anniversary when she turns five so we can celebrate mother’s day and her birthday on the same day!
