cant believe she's almost one, SERIOUSLY where did the time go?!
cant believe she’s almost one, SERIOUSLY where did the time go?!

Little Miss Jayda is not a Picky eater, but the faces she makes when she tries something new is epic! Initially I was going to breast feed my baby girl up until she was one year old, but that did not go according to plans. My milk dried up pretty quickly, and just gave her the next best thing, ENFAMIL.

She’s been on Enfamil since she was about 6 in a half-month-old.

And if I’m not mistaken we started to mix it with the cereal  1 weeks later.

she later was introduced to baby food F.Y.I if you want your child to be less picky about what they eat, start them off with all the nasty baby food first, before trying to give them the sweet delicious stuff your taste buds agree with, like banana. (shoot give me that banana baby food at a baby shower game and I tear it up! Cant say the same for that peas and carrots though )

Her Favorites
Her Favorites snacks & she loves LOVES water! These Gerber Organics are the best! (I be all happy when she get full and save me some lol)

I still use the Nursery water to mix her formula (2 bottles a day) and put it in her favorite sippy cup to drink. other times, I do two ounces of milk and add the baby food to the bottle. (makes a NEW flavor) I only buy fruits and vegetable baby food for my daughter from the store, anything else that contains chicken, beef, cheese… can stay right where is at! (I don’t know why, but I just feel some type of way about giving my baby poultry in a pouch or jar that’s been their for so long)

Jayda love her some home cook meal just like her father!

This is just one of her Favorite, I guess we can call it potato chicken soup.

ingredients
My 11 month old favorite meal Ingredients;  Plus chicken stock, if not homemade, I always dilute with some water. I do not add any seasoning or salt.
boiling
boiling: Let the stock come to a boil, add your garlic, then add ingredients, starting with the one that takes the longest time first. in my case the carrots . Cook everything until they are extra soft (easier mashed)

If you are making this healthy meal For you and your baby, don’t forget to take yours out 10 to fifteen minute before. My toddler’s favorite meals, are the ones I can share with her, not the one she can’t share with me! Seriously I love my baby but when she’s in a sharing mood & offers me formula… I use to fake Drinking it, but Now she notice so I’m screwed! I enjoy making her meals, and not having to make faces on how horrible it taste. (before I give her any baby food I always do a taste test)

Jayda Ready
Jayda Ready: Cooking the potatoes until they are extremely soft causes the broth to get thicker, which gives it a richer flavor.

Her favorite part is sipping on that delicious broth, you can mash as you feed, or make it easier mashing it all at once. However if you are going to freeze the rest I do recommend not mashing all of it. Reason being is that the ingredients, the potato especially sucks up the broth, causing your food to be on the dry side the next day after reheating.  (More enjoyable with broth)

My baby girl getting so big sometimes I have to ask permission to feed her!

Do you have any easy healthy meal you want share with me? I would love to hear about your toddler’s favorite meals.
